Business Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect requirements from end users and business partners.

• Analyze and query data to aid in design and requirement decision-making.

• Develop clear and concise requirements documentation, including use cases.

• Produce detailed visual models to support business needs, including workflow diagrams, wireframes, and/or fully functional prototypes that adhere to best practices and usability standards.

• Work collaboratively with development and quality assurance teams to ensure business requirements are executed as intended.

• Effectively communicate technical information and facilitate collaborative meetings with representatives from various internal departments.

• Clearly convey project status updates to all stakeholders involved.

• Create and maintain business requirement documents, user manuals, and other pertinent documentation.

• Proactively identify opportunities for improving business processes.

• Identify methods to enhance the adoption and engagement of current UI features.

• Evaluate existing UI and propose enhancements to boost usability and overall aesthetics.

• Assist users in the production environment, investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and report and log defects when necessary.

• Review changes post-release to production to confirm that they function as intended.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis.

• At least 3 years of experience using a prototyping tool for designing front-end web pages.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology-related field.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Familiarity with Visio or a similar diagramming tool.

• Experience with workflow diagramming techniques.

• Proficient in wireframing or prototyping tools.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of UX best practices.

• Understanding of database concepts.

• Experience in business process modeling.

• Background in workers' compensation insurance or healthcare industries is a plus.

• Experience collaborating directly with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, or cross-functional internal departments is a plus.
