Senior Business Specialist – LP IDIQ

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Function as the anticipated Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) responsible for the overall performance of task orders.

• Lead and oversee DoW purchase card program activities in alignment with contract stipulations.

• Guarantee adequate staffing and coverage during core hours (0600-1700 EST) to fulfill all deliverables.

• Supervise electronic business (e-business) systems associated with GCPC payments, delegations, audits, and administration.

• Oversee the comprehensive administration and management of the DoW purchase card program.

• Ensure the timely and precise processing of payments, delegations, and audit activities.

• Conduct business process mapping and document as well as monitor internal controls.

• Analyze data to uncover trends and enhance program metrics.

• Identify and address control gaps and inefficiencies in processes.

• Interpret DoW, DON, and other federal regulations, applying them to the GCPC program.

• Communicate policies, procedures, regulations, and program modifications to stakeholders across all levels.

• Assist with audits and address program change initiatives as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• A minimum of eight (8) years of specialized experience in government purchase card or simplified acquisition.

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

• At least eight (8) years of experience managing and directing DoW projects and programs.

• Proficiency in e-business systems related to GCPC payments, delegations, audits, and administration.

• Experience in business process mapping and documentation of internal controls.

• Proven experience in analyzing data to enhance metrics.

• Strong communication skills for conveying policies, procedures, regulations, and program changes, initiatives, and other requirements.

• Capability to interpret DoW, DON, and other federal regulations and apply them to the GCPC program.

• Ability to successfully pass standard federal background vetting for obtaining a CAC and remote access credentials.
