Senior Business Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Aurora’s operational rhythm, encompassing annual planning, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and weekly business routines, ensuring that leadership receives timely and relevant information while maintaining efficient and actionable processes.

• Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Services, Finance, Product, and Engineering to introduce new strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiency through process improvements, systems enhancements, and structural modifications.

• Proactively pinpoint operational challenges and business opportunities, formulate data-driven recommendations, and spearhead implementation alongside cross-functional teams.

• Create executive-ready analyses and recommendations by integrating quantitative data with qualitative insights into clear, actionable narratives for the COO and CEO.

• Conduct independent data analysis, develop models, and produce insights that guide strategic decision-making.

• Design and develop streamlined internal tools, dashboards, and AI-powered workflows that automate manual tasks, enhance visibility, and reduce repetitive operational work.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 - 6+ years of experience in management consulting, Business Operations, Strategic Operations, or within a CEO/COO office, preferably at a high-growth technology firm or a leading consulting agency (MBB or Big Four).

• Proven experience managing initiatives from start to finish—from recognizing opportunities and crafting recommendations to executing them and achieving measurable business results.

• Strong analytical capabilities with a background in developing financial or operational models, writing queries, and leveraging data to guide decisions.

• Proficiency with CRM and data analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Looker, Tableau) is essential.

• Ability to effectively engage at all organizational levels—from discussing company strategy with executives to addressing detailed operational challenges with individual contributors.

• Demonstrated capability to influence without formal authority by cultivating trust, aligning stakeholders, and facilitating cross-functional execution.

• Experience utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar technologies to enhance workflows, automate processes, or create internal tools.

• Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently query large datasets.

• Experience in building dashboards or light automations using scripting, low-code platforms, or AI-assisted development tools.
