This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, product, sales, marketing, and operations teams to establish KPIs and reporting strategies.
• Create scalable semantic models and reporting standards throughout the organization.
• Build analytics products aimed at executives, operations, and customers.
• Utilize Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms to transform and optimize extensive datasets for reporting purposes.
• Promote the use of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other similar BI technologies.
• Work alongside Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering teams to enhance data pipelines and ensure data quality.
• Explore automation opportunities and process enhancements.
• Implement data governance, define metrics, and establish reporting best practices.
• Guide junior BI engineers and analysts while fostering engineering excellence.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data analytics, or related fields.
• Proficient SQL skills and significant experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Strong grasp of dimensional modeling, semantic layers, KPI frameworks, and enterprise reporting architecture.
• Experience handling large, complex datasets and optimizing query performance.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to both executive and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience leading projects and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Strong dedication to data quality, governance, and thorough documentation.
• Preferred: Experience in the automotive industry, including dealership, OEM, consumer, telematics, aftermarket, finance, or mobility data.
• Familiarity with Python, dbt, analytics engineering workflows, and contemporary ELT architectures.
• Understanding of cloud ecosystems and data integration technologies.
• Experience developing customer-facing analytics products.
• Background in mentoring teams within a remote-first environment.
