This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Address intricate business challenges by utilizing both internal and external data sources to offer insights for decision-makers.
• Assist market and corporate leaders with data-driven insights regarding provider contract performance and associated processes.
• Investigate, analyze, and present insights derived from complex datasets.
• Collaborate with corporate, market, and network leadership to comprehend strategy and data-analysis requirements.
• Deploy solutions and technologies to fulfill business needs.
• Contribute to cross-functional and internal data-analysis or reporting projects.
• Provide insights and suggest actionable recommendations.
• Act as the subject matter expert in data and visualization for assigned portfolios.
• Maintain and enforce development standards.
• Guide teammates and promote best practices, particularly in low-code development utilizing Microsoft Power Apps.
• Create optimized, scalable, and well-documented analytical processes to extract, integrate, summarize, and analyze data from diverse platforms.
• Facilitate or enhance data-driven processes in alignment with departmental standards.
• At least 5 years of experience using SQL to construct complex queries against large datasets, derive insights, and visualize results with modern data-visualization tools like Power BI.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing scalable and robust data pipelines in Databricks.
• At least 1 year of experience in designing, building, and maintaining technology solutions using low-code application platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps/Power Automate.
• Significant experience in the healthcare sector.
• Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements between business users and technical development teams.
• Proficient in gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting complex data, creating accurate and meaningful information for reporting and decision support for senior leadership.
• Experience consulting with users at various levels of familiarity with modern BI tools to design and implement suitable solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with senior and executive leadership.
• Minimum internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Must work from a designated space without ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Certification in Power BI, Power Platform, or Power Apps is preferred.
• Experience using Python for task orchestration, data pipelines, data cleaning, or other data-centric applications is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI or machine-learning methodologies and consultative implementation is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI Report Builder is preferred.
• Background in analyzing medical claims and provider data, particularly with Humana internal data, is preferred.
• Experience in creating analytics solutions within the healthcare industry is preferred.
