This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for leading and executing data warehouse design, conducting data analysis, and developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and reporting solutions utilizing Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Conducts design and code reviews while guiding and mentoring BI developers to ensure adherence to best practices and the review process.
• Engages in the creation of a data management framework aimed at enhancing data quality and standards for both database structures and the warehouse repository.
• Designs, leads, and develops requirements for data mapping and ETL processes.
• Designs, guides, and takes part in the development of data model(s) for the data warehouse.
• Offers insights on all data strategies and innovative reporting solutions.
• Analyzes and designs, mapping data between source systems and the Enterprise Data Warehouse; evaluates data in source systems to determine data quality and provides recommendations for improvement within the source systems or as part of the ETL process.
• Creates SSAS Tabular Models, Power BI Dashboards, and other suitable data access objects for end-user reporting based on business needs.
• Conducts design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards among all team members.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Requirements Gathering, data analysis, design, and coding for data warehouse databases, processes, and reporting.
• Experience in the Insurance Industry is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft BI Tools (SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power Query, Power BI).
• Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects at once and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Proven experience working collaboratively in a team and promoting teamwork.
• Demonstrated knowledge of system integrations and database structures.
