Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Developer, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design and develop business intelligence solutions, encompassing data models, reporting frameworks, and dashboards.

• Create SQL-based data transformations and models to facilitate financial and operational analytics.

• Construct and sustain reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools throughout the organization.

• Establish and uphold clear, traceable business metrics and KPIs to evaluate business performance.

• Examine financial and operational datasets to deliver actionable insights for informed decision-making.

• Enhance and automate reporting processes and data workflows.

• Create advanced Excel models for financial and business analysis.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and DBAs to collect requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Effectively communicate findings and BI solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a similar role.

• Proficient SQL skills (T-SQL) with a background in constructing complex queries and data transformations.

• Experience in data modeling and engaging with intricate data sources.

• Practical experience with: Power BI, SSAS (Tabular or Multidimensional), and OLAP technologies.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.

• Capability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

• Nice to Have: Experience with financial data or finance reporting.

• Understanding of data warehouse concepts (star schema, fact/dimension modeling).

• Experience handling large datasets and data pipelines.
