This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand both internal and external (client) analytical requirements and logic.
• Jointly establish success metrics and develop measurement frameworks.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret business requirements.
• Establish and uphold documentation standards for business intelligence dashboards.
• Ensure consistency in metric names, calculations, and delivery so that metrics align across dashboards and with the agreed definitions.
• Exhibit subject matter expertise concerning data (domains, sources, use) pertinent to RxVantage use cases.
• Acquire insights into the business facets of life sciences, healthcare providers, and the pharmaceutical sector to customize dashboards for specific use cases.
• Create scalable, high-performance BI solutions that address both internal and client analytical needs.
• Define BI strategy for both new and existing dashboards, whether internal or client-facing.
• Collaborate with a Data VP and Data Product Manager to develop BI roadmaps and prioritize features based on business value.
• Communicate project status and adhere to agreed-upon deadlines.
• Partner with the DevOps team to establish and execute a security framework for Tableau.
• Bring data to life through clear and impactful storytelling for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Utilize data visualization methods to effectively convey findings to stakeholders.
• Present to the data office and product organization.
• Present to clients and cross-functional leaders.
• Present to executive-level stakeholders.
• Guide leadership in optimizing the use of analytics within their domain.
• Analyze raw data to discover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Conduct data profiling to identify anomalies and inconsistencies.
• Execute trend analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Deliver high-quality solutions and recommendations to various challenges, both independently and in collaboration with team members and business partners.
• Independently manage a Jira backlog of user requests, communicate status updates, and meet delivery deadlines, including creating backlogs for larger projects.
• Reconcile competing demands from multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.
• Mentor junior team members on analytics, storytelling, and communication best practices.
• Influence and uphold the standards of excellence and best practices in analytics.
• At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics.
• A minimum of 3 years working with Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Strong preference for experience with healthcare data.
• Advanced proficiency with Tableau's functionality, including its capabilities, limitations, and assumptions, along with a thorough understanding of security frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including its capabilities, limitations, and a comprehensive understanding of security frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of data storage strategies to enhance BI performance.
• Proficiency in data visualization techniques and BI best practices.
• Skilled in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R).
• Familiarity with Snowflake dashboards.
• Experience in developing client-facing BI solutions.
• Data modeling experience is preferred.
• Capability to translate data insights into visual, actionable BI solutions.
• Understanding of key business metrics and financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex data findings to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Strong understanding of best practices in BI documentation.
