This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate data-driven alignment meetings across key business dependencies.
• Articulate complex data stories clearly to non-technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Integrate Snowflake and BigQuery with Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI using APIs and connectors.
• Automate routine data exploration, anomaly detection, and performance reporting.
• Create and enhance Looker Explores and LookML dashboards.
• Generate actionable reports for Editorial, Sales, and Finance teams.
• Investigate root causes and category-level trends during metric declines.
• Establish validation, monitoring, and reconciliation frameworks for financial and commerce datasets.
• Collaborate with Editorial and SEO teams to enhance content monetization strategies.
• Partner with Product to improve user conversion funnels.
• Advocate for practical AI applications within the organization.
• Guide and mentor the analytics team on generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and database connectors.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a highly consultative data role.
• Proficient in SQL with daily experience in querying Snowflake, BigQuery, or GCP.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including modeling, pivots, and complex formulas.
• Experience creating executive-level presentations in Google Slides or PowerPoint.
• Practical knowledge of using AI for workflow automation.
• Familiarity with setting up connectors, crafting advanced prompts, and utilizing Claude or Gemini alongside SQL databases.
• Extensive experience with contemporary BI platforms like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Capability to design intricate, user-friendly, and scalable dashboards.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities.
• Skill in converting complex data into clear, non-technical business language.
• Confidence in leading meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Preferred: knowledge of e-commerce and site performance metrics such as CVR, CTR, RPV, and traffic sourcing.
• Preferred: understanding of affiliate marketing networks such as Impact, Partnerize, Rakuten, CJ, and Amazon Associates.
• Required availability for major shopping holidays, including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Prime Day.
