This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Propel new business development by actively seeking out pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors, establishing and nurturing a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Recognize, connect with, and cultivate relationships with influential decision-makers within commercial, supply chain, and executive leadership teams.
• Conduct consultative discovery sessions to comprehend customer challenges and present the Medicine Supply Map as a solution that enhances supply chain visibility, mitigates risks, and aids commercial decision-making.
• Provide customized demonstrations, presentations, and value-oriented narratives that effectively convey measurable business outcomes.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans for target prospects, aligning USP’s capabilities with customer priorities and market trends.
• Manage the entire sales process from initial outreach to contract execution, which includes proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Data Science teams to ensure that customer requirements, solution capabilities, and long-term growth opportunities are in sync.
• Utilize market intelligence and industry knowledge to spot whitespace opportunities and distinguish USP in a competitive environment.
• Keep precise pipeline forecasting and consistently achieve or surpass revenue goals.
• Act as the primary commercial liaison with USP Legal to facilitate contract negotiations and the execution of license agreements.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• Over 5 years of proven experience in new business development or Account Executive roles, ideally within SaaS, data analytics, or supply chain solutions.
• Strong aptitude for prospecting, pipeline development, and engaging senior-level stakeholders in commercial operations, sales, and supply chain sectors.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on value-based selling.
• Consultative sales methodology with the capacity to convert complex data and analytics into straightforward, actionable business value.
• Experience in presenting SaaS or data-driven solutions to various audiences, including executive leadership.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical supply chain dynamics, market intelligence, or related industry trends is preferred.
