This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Cultivating and overseeing relationships with both new and existing high-level clients in academia and industry.
• Meeting short and long-term sales targets by identifying the specific needs of customers.
• Delivering solutions that foster long-term collaborations between clients and Olink.
• Gaining insight into the primary drivers and constraints of the market within the designated territory.
• Establishing and nurturing key opinion leader (KOL) relationships, requiring a robust scientific background.
• Driving overall revenue growth for Olink.
• Investigating service offerings and kits.
• Charting key accounts.
• Overseeing both existing and new biomarker discovery initiatives within these accounts.
• Delivering technical presentations to prospective clients interested in protein biomarker discovery.
• Confidently presenting Olink applications and real-world examples to potential customers while effectively addressing technical inquiries.
• Collaborating with the Field Application Scientist team to provide study design guidance that ensures client satisfaction.
• Offering innovative solutions to clients and comprehending the value drivers within their organizations.
• Keeping customer and opportunity information current in Salesforce.
• Staying informed about competitive products and technologies.
• Collaborating closely with Sales colleagues, Project Coordinators, Field Application Scientists, Data Scientists, and the broader organization to optimize commercial success.
• 5-10 years of relevant sales experience.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrated success in a client-facing role.
• A pertinent network of contacts within the territory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and an ambition to succeed.
• Must possess energy, enthusiasm, and high motivation.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• A strong deal sheet demonstrating the ability to successfully “close” business.
• Open to learning from more seasoned team members.
• Willing to mentor team members and share relevant experiences.
• Technical expertise in proteomics or biomarker discovery is an advantage.
• Standard work schedule (Mon-Fri).
