
Senior Business Development Executive – Mid-Atlantic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +5 more states.
• Drive growth by acquiring new logos.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new employer opportunities utilizing a structured, consultative sales approach.
• Consistently meet annual sales targets through disciplined pipeline development and execution.
• Leverage existing relationships with local, regional, and national consultants and brokers to discover RFPs and new opportunities.
• Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with broker practice leaders throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Establish trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite and senior HR/Benefits executives at mid-to-large employers.
• Take ownership of your territory by generating pipeline through broker outreach, direct prospecting, and networking.
• Ensure accurate tracking of pipeline activity, forecasting, and documentation within Salesforce.
• Lead sales presentations, finalist meetings, and high-level discussions through to closing.
• A minimum of 7 years in business development or enterprise sales.
• Proven experience in selling employee benefits, healthcare solutions, or related services to employers.
• Demonstrated success in generating new business via brokers and consultants.
• Established relationships within the Mid-Atlantic broker and consultant community (essential requirement).
• Strong, active network with benefits consultants and brokerage firms.
• Proven history of acquiring new logos and achieving quota targets.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
• High level of ownership, persistence, and accountability.
• Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Strong executive presence and exceptional presentation skills.
