Senior Business Controls Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance with risk and control consultations for new, existing, and modified processes.

• Promote alignment between policies, program standards, work procedures, and external guidelines; identify discrepancies and facilitate corrective measures.

• Recognize and oversee operational and strategic risks along with related Key Risk Indicators.

• Establish and enforce controls and procedures aimed at risk mitigation.

• Act as a point of contact for requests related to internal and external audit support.

• Convert control deficiencies into actionable plans.

• Improve governance practices in accordance with risk and compliance frameworks.

• Conduct testing and/or assessments related to the 1LOD testing program.

• Supervise and escalate outstanding issues and findings to relevant stakeholders, including senior management.

• Stay updated on regulatory policies, program standards, and work procedures to ensure adherence.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of education and work experience.

• Generally, a minimum of 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Proficiency in aligning policies, program standards, procedures, and external guidelines.

• Familiarity with the identification and monitoring of operational and strategic risks.

• Understanding of Key Risk Indicators.

• Capability to identify and implement controls and procedures for risk mitigation.

• Proficient in supporting internal and external auditing processes.

• Skill in translating control deficiencies into action plans.

• Knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks.

• Experience with 1LOD testing programs.

• Awareness of regulatory policies, program standards, and work procedures.
