Senior Business Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist in the strategy, design, growth, and enhancement of Medicare Advantage provider Value-Based Care programs and alternative payment models.

• Incorporate analytical insights, market perspectives, and business requirements to shape VBC program strategy and design.

• Assess program effectiveness and pinpoint strategic improvements.

• Formulate VBC contracting strategies.

• Create VBC contract templates and necessary program documentation.

• Generate executive-level recommendations and presentations.

• Independently manage complex workstreams and advance recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, business operations, or pertinent healthcare industry experience.

• Minimum of 3 years leading large, intricate multi-million-dollar projects.

• Proven experience in communicating with senior management across various divisions.

• Skilled in developing and delivering impactful presentations.

• Proficient in problem resolution techniques and skills.

• Familiarity with strategic planning methodologies and industry trends.

• Ability to interpret business and financial information, alongside negotiation skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including fostering collaborative relationships across departments.

• Experience in preparing presentations for senior management and cultivating a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Experienced in successfully managing multiple complex projects.

• Proficient in PC usage, including MS Office applications.

• Relevant experience in Medicare Advantage and/or provider VBC.

• Master’s degree, such as an MBA, MPH, MHA, or a related advanced degree (preferred).

• Direct experience with Medicare Advantage VBC strategy and alternative payment model design (preferred).

• Background in provider network strategy, provider contracting/value-based contracting, contract development, provider performance, or Medicare Advantage Stars (preferred).

• Experience collaborating with analytical teams to convert analytical findings into strategic insights and decisions (preferred).

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and execution capabilities (preferred).

• Ability to drive decision-making, create options, and evaluate the impacts of those options (preferred).
