Senior Business Architect, German speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead the overall solution strategy and manage architectural governance.

• Ensure successful delivery by aligning client objectives with scalable and maintainable Guidewire solutions.

• Serve as a cross-functional thought partner by collaborating closely with Engagement Managers, customer executives, developers, and product teams.

• Explore and implement tools, techniques, and processes for managing configurations and requirements.

• Conduct elaboration sessions to gather requirements beyond InsuranceSuite, including data, reporting, analytics, forms, and integrations.

• Define requirements and validate specifications that utilize Guidewire Products and technology.

• Act as the Guidewire lead for a functional or technical workstream.

• Provide mentorship and oversight to Business Analyst team members.

• Review and approve requirements definitions.

• Anticipate application risks and proactively devise mitigation strategies.

• Function as a trusted advisor to customer business and leadership teams.

• Present proposed solutions and roadmaps to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

• Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Cloud teams to address product inquiries and surface roadmap needs.

• Contribute to internal architecture standards and mentor junior Architects.

• Engage in business architecture forums and knowledge-sharing sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in enterprise software business architecture, with a focus on relevant delivery experience.

• Proficiency in the German language.

• Proven ability to define business application solutions across various workstreams or regions.

• Demonstrated capability to develop requirements that maximize the use of base functionality.

• Expertise in Agile delivery and hybrid cloud implementation strategies.

• Involvement in pre-sales activities, including reviewing the value delivery of proposed solutions.

• Strong ability to lead and inspire others through collaboration.

• Willingness to travel for onsite client engagements as necessary (up to 50%).

• Proven ability to embrace AI and apply it in your current role, as well as leverage data-driven insights to foster innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
