Senior Business Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage a team of experts in technology enablement, data analytics, and process redesign.

• Partner with IT professionals, legal technology engineers, and knowledge engineers to enhance AI systems for transactional processes.

• Establish and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to meet business objectives and fulfill customer requirements.

• Drive the strategic direction for legal technology architecture and the development of legal systems.

• Supervise technology transformation initiatives, including contract lifecycle management, intake, compliance, ELM, and improvements in legal operations processes.

• Create reliable, auditable, and data-driven AI-native systems utilizing LLMs that incorporate human-in-the-loop review.

• Propel Allstate’s initiatives in Legal Technology and Artificial Intelligence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

• Previous work experience in a law firm, a legal technology provider, a regulated professional services organization, or another highly confidential setting.

• Knowledge of attorney-client privilege, the work-product doctrine, and the associated legal and ethical responsibilities.

• Experience in constructing and/or refining MCP servers and designing evaluation/guardrail frameworks for autonomous agents.

• Familiarity with legal-specific platforms and applications such as document review, contract analysis, legal research, and drafting.

• A background that integrates software/AI engineering with exposure to litigation, eDiscovery, or knowledge management.

• A degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or JD is advantageous but not mandatory when coupled with practical engineering experience.
