This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to pinpoint their business challenges and formulate suitable analytical solutions.
• Design and plan straightforward to moderately complex business processes and system enhancements.
• Provide suggestions for improving and supporting business operations.
• Collect business requirements using various methods such as workshops and interviews, then analyze and document intricate client business needs and processes; relay these requirements to the relevant stakeholders.
• Develop intricate test case scenarios for testing purposes; oversee and monitor the testing of business applications to ensure all client requirements are reflected in the system design.
• Create business requirements documents or user stories to facilitate the necessary modifications.
• May organize, assign, and supervise the work of other business analysts.
• Grasp simple to complex systems and associated data to extract actionable insights, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Assist in estimating timelines for project-related tasks.
• Help in updating process and procedural documentation.
• Acquire a basic understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.
• Support the QA, UAT, and Release phases of the project through defect analysis, change maintenance, and other related activities.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• A degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• Previous experience in the health insurance sector is mandatory.
• Insurtech experience is a plus.
• Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is an advantage.
• Familiarity with business analysis concepts, including defining requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and utilizing an Agile approach for prioritizing tasks into epics and sprints.
• Proficiency in business analysis skills such as facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines within set timeframes.
• Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is essential.
• Basic understanding of generating process documentation and documenting system functionalities, data integration, and workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Technical writing skills are a plus.
