• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to pinpoint their business challenges and devise effective analytical solutions.
• Design and plan straightforward to moderately complex business processes and system modifications.
• Offer recommendations to enhance and support business operations.
• Collect business requirements using various techniques such as workshops and interviews, analyze and document complex business needs and processes, and communicate these requirements to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop intricate test case scenarios for use in testing; oversee the testing of business applications to ensure all client requirements are integrated into the system design.
• Create business requirements documents and user stories to facilitate necessary modifications.
• May oversee, allocate, and monitor the work of other business analysts.
• Comprehend simple to complex systems and associated data to extract actionable insights while demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Assist in providing time estimates for project-related tasks.
• Aid in revising process and procedural documentation.
• Cultivate a foundational understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.
• Support QA, UAT, and Release phases of projects through defect analysis, change management, etc.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
• A degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• Prior experience in the health insurance sector is essential (insurtech experience is preferred).
• Certification in Health Insurance-related domains from INS/LOMA or III is a plus.
• Familiarity with business analysis concepts, including defining requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and using an Agile approach to prioritize work into epics and sprints.
• Proficient in business analysis skills such as facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines within established timeframes.
• Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation, documenting system functionality, data integration, and workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Technical writing skills are advantageous.
• Must reside in Canada.
• Must be available to work during CET hours (Central European Time) or adjusted EST hours.
