Senior Business Analyst, Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Actively seek and assess valuable, cross-functional automation opportunities that align with enterprise strategy.

• Evaluate the feasibility, complexity, scalability, and return on investment (ROI) of automation projects.

• Develop and quantify business cases with measurable outcomes such as cost savings, efficiency improvements, risk mitigation, and quality enhancements.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in prioritizing automation projects.

• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a strong automation pipeline.

• Lead comprehensive discovery sessions for intricate processes, including detailed As-Is analyses and scalable To-Be designs.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to influence strategic solution architecture decisions.

• Ensure that requirements are complete, scalable, and in line with enterprise architecture standards.

• Act as a quality checkpoint for functional documentation, ensuring clarity in requirements and validating Process Definition Documents (PDD).

• Anticipate downstream effects on systems, integrations, and operational models.

• Conduct workshops with senior stakeholders to define the automation vision and solution direction.

• Articulate the value of automation in business terms tailored for executive audiences.

• Navigate through ambiguity and resolve complex issues related to scope or requirements.

• Function as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, Solution Architects, and Developers.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Business Analysts when needed.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Developers through the design, testing, and deployment stages.

• Facilitate agreement on scope, acceptance criteria, and business validation.

• Independently manage analysis deliverables across various initiatives.

• Proactively identify risks, interdependencies, and strategies for mitigation.

• Support Agile ceremonies and facilitate stand-up meetings as required.

• Design and implement change management strategies to ensure sustainable adoption of automation.

• Develop communication plans for stakeholders that foster an “automation-first” culture.

• Identify potential barriers to adoption and implement strategies to overcome them.

• Ensure business readiness for deployment and assist with post-implementation transitions.

• Maintain a strong understanding of UiPath platform capabilities and emerging automation technologies.

• Utilize expertise in enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Concur, Coupa, etc.) to pinpoint integration opportunities.

• Stay informed about automation trends and suggest innovative use cases.

• Encourage the reuse of automation components and blueprint patterns.

• Identify and document reusable solutions and process blueprints.

• Contribute to best practices, methodologies, and industry insights.

• Develop case studies and success stories internally to highlight the impact of automation.

• Drive continuous enhancements in Business Analyst practices and documentation standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in business process analysis, operations consulting, or automation initiatives.

• Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector.

• Proven expertise in complex, cross-functional process transformation.

• Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Concur, Coupa, etc.

• Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Experience in global, cross-functional settings.

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Preferred: Knowledge of UiPath and Agentic technologies.

• UiPath Business Analyst certification (Professional level preferred).

• Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA or similar collaboration tools.

• Background in designing change management strategies.
