Senior Business Analyst

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery sessions with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to comprehend, challenge, and outline intricate business processes at both high-level and detailed operational tiers.

• Establish comprehensive decision logic, workflow dynamics, exception handling, and validation criteria in close cooperation with client stakeholders, operations teams, and engineering professionals.

• Collaboratively determine — alongside engineers and stakeholders — the scope, boundaries, decision points, and anticipated behaviors of AI agents, copilots, and workflow automation solutions across claims, benefits, care management, and related fields.

• Organize and formalize business rules, operational criteria, and system behaviors derived from policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), legacy systems, and stakeholder feedback into clear functional logic that technical teams can execute.

• Lead validation and testing initiatives: establish acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and evaluation methods to ensure alignment with expected results.

• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders and cross-functional internal teams to refine requirements, clarify ambiguities, identify trade-offs, and aid in prioritization throughout the delivery process.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of workflows, decision trees, business rules, system interactions, and anticipated outputs, fostering a shared understanding across all teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a similar capacity within insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated, operations-intensive sectors.

• Solid understanding of complex operational workflows, including claims, benefits administration, authorizations, case management, or back-office processes.

• Demonstrated ability to deconstruct complex business challenges into structured workflows, decision logic, and actionable requirements, with keen judgment regarding edge cases and exceptions.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with direct experience collaborating with North American or European clients and stakeholders.

• High level of autonomy, ownership, and comfort in navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
