Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct credit analysis utilizing advanced analytics in SQL and/or Python.

• Evaluate and enhance lending strategies, which include approval/decline policies and credit line assignments.

• Formulate recommendations for credit strategies based on performance analysis, resiliency testing, and business judgment.

• Deliver data-driven recommendations to leadership.

• Develop and/or utilize valuation models to support credit policy recommendations.

• Create testing and monitoring plans.

• Actively oversee credit risk and performance, identifying the need for policy adjustments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in advanced analytics, including the formulation of credit policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Business.

• Strong results-oriented approach and unwavering determination in problem-solving.

• Demonstrated history of decision-making and problem-solving driven by analytics.

• Excellent critical thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Highly skilled in analytical tools like Python and SQL.

• Proven success in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to communicate complex analytical insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Previous experience in credit analytics and consumer lending is mandatory.
