Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Analyze and implement new business and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Lead the automation of manual file-based processes and seek opportunities to minimize manual adjustments.

• Assist with ECB remediation efforts and ensure alignment with supervisory expectations.

• Serve as a liaison between business and IT stakeholders across various cross-functional teams.

• Convert complex datasets and statistical concepts into understandable business insights.

• Model and enhance business processes using established business process modeling techniques.

• Interpret regulatory reporting rules and validation logic into clear business and data requirements.

• Contribute to the design and enhancement of data warehouse and reporting solutions.

• Draft and maintain requirements documentation utilizing Confluence.

• Manage tasks within Jira.

• Conduct data analysis and reporting using SQL and Microsoft Office.

• Engage with and manage stakeholders at multiple levels to ensure effective communication and alignment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of banking regulatory reporting processes and frameworks.

• Solid knowledge of banking products, systems, processes, and financial data.

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis and requirements engineering.

• Experience in business process modeling.

• Ability to analyze and translate regulatory reporting requirements into clear business and data requirements.

• Familiarity with reporting rules, validation logic, and supervisory expectations.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams.

• Good comprehension of Data Literacy principles.

• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.

• Understanding of data warehouse and reporting concepts and solutions.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office.

• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Nice to have: hands-on regulatory reporting experience.

• Nice to have: familiarity with BCBS239 principles and requirements.

• Nice to have: experience with ECB remediation initiatives.

• Nice to have: background in finance or banking transformation projects.
