Senior Build Engineer – CUDA Driver, Libraries

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Breaking down and modularizing build processes for reusability across various projects.

• Troubleshooting issues related to CMake, pip, and conda in both CI and local builds.

• Developing scripts and infrastructure to oversee dependencies across different environments and build systems.

• Initiating builds and continuous integration across multiple platforms (x86_64/arm64) and operating systems (Linux/Windows/Mac), as well as other unreleased hardware and software.

• Collaborating with engineering leadership to define the support matrix and manage the scope of the build matrix.

• Automating scheduled tasks for all the aforementioned activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems/Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Over 8 years of pertinent industry experience or equivalent academic background post-BS.

• Proven experience working on multiple highly-coupled projects (utilizing Git or another version control system).

• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python projects.

• Familiarity with CMake, pip, conda, or other tools for building and packaging C/C++ or Python applications.

• Understanding of CI/CD systems, including GitHub and GitLab.

• Knowledge of testing principles.

• Familiarity with release management practices.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
