This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Become a part of the WOLFSBLUT team, Germany's premier brand for premium dry dog food, dedicated to establishing high-quality, species-appropriate nutrition as the norm.
• In this senior position, you will lead the strategic development of the brand, taking a comprehensive approach to growth, brand identity, and customer experience, while translating business goals into effective brand strategies.
• You will provide guidance, establish the strategic framework, and ensure that WOLFSBLUT is consistently represented across all customer interactions.
• Collaborating with the Brand Director, you will drive the growth agenda and create a robust, data-driven channel strategy encompassing D2C, B2B/retail, and other platforms.
• You will convert revenue and profitability targets into actionable strategic growth initiatives, pinpointing funnel opportunities and managing customer acquisition and loyalty efforts alongside other teams.
• You will create consumer personas, map out customer journeys, and develop experience principles to ensure the brand is perceived as emotional, consistent, and distinct across all platforms.
• Establishing the strategic direction for campaigns and brand experiences will be a key aspect of your role.
• You will oversee the overall campaign strategy, defining its direction and coordinating implementation with Brand Managers, taking direct responsibility for media campaigns from concept through execution.
• You will plan and manage media activities across all relevant channels, including print, OOH, and digital, developing the media strategy, coordinating with agencies and external partners, while ensuring media expenditures align with campaign strategies.
• Accountability for a wide range of KPIs, including brand health, brand perception, D2C performance metrics (e.g., CAC and CLV), and sales performance will be part of your responsibilities. You will track these metrics using Looker, actively integrate consumer and market insights from the Insights team into strategy development, and assess performance with Brand Managers and the online team.
• Identifying gaps early and deriving specific, prioritized actions will be crucial to your success.
• 6–9 years of professional experience in brand management, brand strategy, or a similar senior role, preferably within consumer brands, FMCG, or a digital environment, either on the company or agency side.
• Proven experience in developing cross-channel brand and campaign strategies, with the capability to set the framework and empower teams to execute effectively.
• Proficiency in working with KPIs, data tools (e.g., Looker), and insights, along with the ability to make clear, data-driven decisions.
• Basic understanding of D2C mechanics and relevant performance metrics.
• A strong sense of brand management, consumer journeys, and emotional storytelling, with the ability to create strategic frameworks and lead creative teams.
• A passion for cross-functional collaboration and the ability to connect teams while driving initiatives independently.
• Bonus: You are a pet owner, have a keen interest in the pet-food sector, or have experience in D2C or digital direct sales.
