This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +20 more states.
β’ Assess that coverage is confirmed.
β’ Verify or finalize decisions regarding liability.
β’ Engage with injured individuals, their representatives, or attorneys.
β’ Request and examine the necessary medical records and reports to evaluate the nature and severity of their claims.
β’ Assess the settlement value of the exposure and negotiate the settlement accordingly.
β’ Timely process all time limit demands.
β’ Fulfill all conditions of settlement in BI/UMBI demands.
β’ Ensure ongoing claim adjudication adheres to company standards, as well as industry best practices and regulations.
β’ Create grammatically correct and clearly articulated correspondence, including letters, memos, reports, and claim file documentation.
β’ Consistent and predictable attendance and punctuality are required.
β’ Perform other duties as needed.
β’ Over three years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance sector.
β’ A minimum of 3-5 years of experience dealing with attorney-represented bodily injury cases.
β’ Must possess a clear understanding of practices, standards, and terminology within the insurance industry.
β’ Must be able to pass a background check with the intention of obtaining and maintaining a current Independent Adjuster License from the Department of Insurance.
β’ Must demonstrate a disciplined approach to all job-related tasks.
β’ Must have a strong foundation in personal organization, sound decision-making, analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
β’ Must exhibit superior time management skills.
