Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess that coverage is confirmed.

• Verify or finalize decisions regarding liability.

• Engage with injured individuals, their representatives, or attorneys.

• Request and examine the necessary medical records and reports to evaluate the nature and severity of their claims.

• Assess the settlement value of the exposure and negotiate the settlement accordingly.

• Timely process all time limit demands.

• Fulfill all conditions of settlement in BI/UMBI demands.

• Ensure ongoing claim adjudication adheres to company standards, as well as industry best practices and regulations.

• Create grammatically correct and clearly articulated correspondence, including letters, memos, reports, and claim file documentation.

• Consistent and predictable attendance and punctuality are required.

• Perform other duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over three years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance sector.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience dealing with attorney-represented bodily injury cases.

• Must possess a clear understanding of practices, standards, and terminology within the insurance industry.

• Must be able to pass a background check with the intention of obtaining and maintaining a current Independent Adjuster License from the Department of Insurance.

• Must demonstrate a disciplined approach to all job-related tasks.

• Must have a strong foundation in personal organization, sound decision-making, analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.

• Must exhibit superior time management skills.
