Senior Board Design Hardware Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of intricate multi-layer PCB design, from the initial technical specifications to the release for mass production, minimizing the number of design cycles.

• Create schematic designs for CPUs, high-performance Marvell packet processors, and system-on-chip (SoC) architectures.

• Design and integrate high-speed digital interfaces including SerDes, PCI-e, Ethernet, DDR2/3/4, and MII/GMII.

• Administer service and management interfaces such as I2C, SMI, and SPI.

• Design and calculate robust power circuitry, which encompasses high-efficiency DC/DC converters and Power Integrity (PI) management.

• Offer layout support and enforce strict guidelines for PCB Layout Designers to ensure superior Signal Integrity (SI).

• Execute laboratory bring-up, hardware debugging, validation, and testing using professional-grade equipment like Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Power Analyzers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Radio Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated commercial experience in high-speed digital board design, with a strong advantage for those with networking/telecom hardware experience.

• Profound knowledge of high-speed digital logic, Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/RFI).

• Practical expertise with OrCAD Capture or equivalent high-end EDA software.

• Substantial experience with laboratory testing equipment such as Oscilloscopes and Signal Generators.
