Lead Embedded Firmware Engineer – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Creating production-ready firmware for devices that support Matter.

• Taking responsibility for firmware development throughout the entire device lifecycle.

• Engaging in hardware debugging and validation with a variety of tools.

• Working closely with hardware engineers and interdisciplinary teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in embedded/firmware engineering.

• Extensive experience with ESP-IDF.

• Proven track record of implementing Matter on ESP32-series silicon.

• Practical experience with at least one Matter transport.

• Knowledge of secure boot, flash encryption, and device attestation within the Matter framework.

• Experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines for firmware builds and automated testing frameworks.

• Must be a resident of Argentina and authorized to work without sponsorship.
