Lead Embedded Firmware Engineer – Matter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create production-quality firmware for devices that support Matter.

• Take ownership of firmware development throughout the entire device lifecycle.

• Engage in hardware debugging and validation processes.

• Work collaboratively with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams.

• Troubleshoot complex interoperability challenges in real-world ecosystems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in embedded/firmware engineering using C/C++.

• Extensive experience with ESP-IDF.

• Proven track record of implementing Matter on ESP32-series devices.

• Practical experience with Matter transport at the firmware level.

• Proficient in debugging commissioning workflows and protocol-level issues.

• Knowledgeable in secure boot and flash encryption techniques.

• Familiar with hardware debugging toolchains.
