Senior Biostatistician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the design of research and analytical strategies.

• Contribute to the development of protocols.

• Create and review statistical analysis plans.

• Author or co-author various reports, abstracts, and manuscripts.

• Offer advice, guidance, and oversee the quality control of statistical deliverables.

• Serve as the functional lead within study teams and direct Biostatistical activities.

• Develop and implement complex analysis strategies using SAS or R.

• Conduct intricate statistical analyses and provide insights for statistical reports.

• Contribute to analysis plans, statistical reports, and the statistical sections of integrated clinical reports.

• Advise on analyses from the proposal stage through the entire project life cycle.

• Review analysis datasets and ensure quality control of statistical analysis deliverables.

• Mentor and train junior members of the department.

• Collaborate with Biostatistics and other company departments to enhance global efficiency.

• Manage Biostatistics project activities to meet timelines and budget constraints.

• Coordinate with clients regarding data analysis, scope of work, and budget considerations.

• Represent Parexel during client meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in Statistics (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, or a Ph.D. in Statistics (or equivalent) with 4 years of relevant industry experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of the statistical elements of clinical trials.

• Experience in statistical analysis related to clinical trials.

• Proficiency in SAS programming or R programming (preferred).

• Advanced education (Master's or Ph.D.) in biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.

• Confidence, self-sufficiency, and a quick learning ability in a matrixed team environment.

• Strong leadership abilities.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
