Senior Biostatistician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the design, collection, analysis, reporting, interpretation, and dissemination of clinical trial data.

• Maintain a foundational understanding of advancements in biostatistical methodology, regulatory changes, and the field of ophthalmology.

• Assist in the development and implementation of new innovations, standards, processes, and efficiencies within the Biostatistics team.

• Offer scientific and technical consultation while collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Support collaborative efforts with Data Management teams.

• Examine clinical trial data and validate critical endpoints or datasets.

• Represent Lexitas during interactions with Sponsors and vendors.

• Ensure consistency and compliance with established standards and departmental SOPs.

• Guarantee the statistical integrity of all deliverables.

• Write sections of protocols, statistical analysis plans, clinical study reports, presentations, and publications related to clinical trial data.

• Lead, oversee, and support statistical activities for clinical studies, submissions, and development projects.

• Monitor and raise concerns regarding any changes in the scope of services.

• Mentor junior biostatisticians.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international qualification in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in statistical analysis within the realm of clinical research.

• Basic comprehension of statistical concepts and methodologies in drug and medical product development.

• Strong technical and programming logic skills.

• Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the capacity to adapt to shifting priorities.

• Ability to maintain productivity and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• A keen interest in developing expertise in ophthalmology.

• Capability to meet the specified physical requirements, including lifting and carrying weights between 10–35 pounds.
