Senior Biostatistician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage early-phase clinical trials.

• Contribute to statistical elements such as protocols, mock-ups/shells, SAP text, programmed deliverables, and CSRs.

• Act as the primary biostatistician for programs of studies or for individual studies ranging from simple to complex.

• Supervise statistical activities that facilitate ICON’s engagements with clients and regulatory bodies.

• Review and endorse statistical methodology sections of study protocols.

• Draft statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and provide statistical contributions to reports.

• Utilize SAS and/or R for conducting inferential statistical programming.

• Perform statistical analyses for clients.

• Mentor junior statisticians or offer them support.

• Lead or engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing internal processes or developing new guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of biostatistical experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment.

• Proven experience in leading studies, including client-facing duties and managing timelines.

• Experience in a clinical research organization is preferred.

• High-level capability to plan, oversee, implement, and track statistical processes for multiple clinical studies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating leadership capabilities.

• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
