This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will play a key role in enhancing the experiences of every Helen of Troy employee by creating analytical tools that facilitate decision-making across all levels of the organization.
• Grasp HELE's vision, strategic goals, and organizational priorities.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements.
• Create and propose solutions that promote data-driven decision-making within HELE.
• Familiarize oneself with business models, data sources, and system infrastructure.
• Design and implement robust Power BI architectures that enable self-service reporting and ad-hoc data exploration throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across various business departments to establish and implement a Power BI Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Take a hands-on approach to build and lead essential analytical assets required by the organization.
• Develop scalable Power BI data models that facilitate strategic decision-making and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Ensure accountability among various partners involved in developing Power BI solutions.
• Embrace and apply agile methodologies in all activities.
• Mentor and assist team members and business users in creating their own reports utilizing scalable Power BI models.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• More than 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Power BI as an enterprise platform.
• At least 2 years of experience leading BI teams or managing cross-functional BI projects.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing end-to-end Power BI solutions within a complex Enterprise IT environment.
• Prior knowledge in domains such as Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.
• Experience in establishing and managing a Power BI Center of Excellence.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Proven ability in developing innovative solutions, problem-solving, and collaborating across diverse groups and domains.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
