Senior BI Analyst

📋 Description

• Design and execute innovative strategies to monitor and enhance business performance and efficiency, starting from requirement gathering with stakeholders and collaborating with data-producing teams and other analysts to create and operationalize effective systems.

• Establish, instrument, and manage both new and existing business KPIs from the ground up, utilizing SQL queries and Python scripting.

• Develop automation to ensure that we can comprehend and respond to business performance through accurate, scalable, and low-latency solutions that demand minimal maintenance.

• Generate actionable, user-friendly, and intuitive dashboards using Tableau or similar tools to highlight business performance and facilitate scalable, data-driven decision-making.

• Ensure data quality transparency by meticulously documenting data sources and validation processes, while regularly auditing the outcomes.

• Collaborate with IT personnel to design and implement secure and sustainable pathways for data access from systems to support timely dashboard reporting.

• Employ creative thinking to devise and implement solutions for unique challenges.

• Create documentation and provide training to educate stakeholders and foster data literacy throughout the organization.

• Address complex business inquiries through ad-hoc SQL queries or Python notebooks, empowering business owners to make informed decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Information Technology, or Computer Science.

• Over 5 years of experience in business analytics.

• More than 5 years of experience working with databases.

• More than 5 years of experience dealing with large-scale data systems and analytics.

• Over 5 years of experience in database design, data modeling, or object modeling.

• More than 5 years of experience with Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, SQL, Tableau, etc.).

• Strong analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to problem-solving, capable of extracting value from data and linking insights to business outcomes.

• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, comfortable with ambiguity.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and communication abilities, capable of working independently, a good listener, an innovator, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• A collaborative team player with a professional “get it done” mindset.
