Senior BI Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with operational leaders across various service lines to convert business inquiries into reporting and analytics solutions.

• Develop and sustain Power BI reports and dashboards, provide ad hoc analytical extracts within tight deadlines, and analyze operational data to uncover root causes, reconcile discrepancies, and highlight actionable insights.

• Replace manual reporting methods with scalable, automated workflows utilizing SQL, Python, or R — including scheduled distributions, snapshot pipelines, and metric calculations.

• Consolidate findings into concise, evidence-based recommendations for leadership.

• Utilize SQL (Snowflake), Python or R, and Power BI (DAX) daily for extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualization across multiple data platforms.

• Actively assist teammates, share expertise, and engage in continuous professional growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, statistics, computer science, data science, analytics, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in an analytics role focused on creating reports, data models, and automated workflows.

• Strong expertise in SQL (Snowflake preferred), Power BI (DAX/data modeling), and Python or R.

• Preferred experience in the healthcare revenue cycle.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Kanban, Sprints).

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities; capable of transitioning between strategic projects and urgent ad hoc requests without compromising quality.

• Experience working directly with operational business leaders across various functions.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong data intuition — capable of evaluating results and quickly determining their reasonableness.
