Senior Backend Software Engineer – Node.js/TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and implement new features for our backend services utilizing Node.js and TypeScript.

• Enhance application performance for optimal speed and scalability.

• Assess the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

• Work collaboratively with frontend developers and product designers to enhance user experience.

• Produce reliable, well-structured, and thoroughly documented code.

• Support and upgrade existing applications.

• Perform performance testing to ensure responsiveness and stability across all platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.

• Experience in developing and deploying software within a regulated and compliance-focused environment (such as healthcare and PHI, HIPAA, SOC 2, or HITRUST).

• Demonstrated capability to quickly adapt to new frameworks and tools.

• Strong proficiency in relational data modeling and ORM.

• Relevant experience with Docker.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and associated patterns.

• Solid foundational skills in software engineering.

• Familiarity with contemporary authorization mechanisms.

• Extensive experience working in a fully remote setting.
