Senior Backend Software Engineer – Cloud Platform Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• The Core Tooling team plays a crucial role in enhancing the productivity of engineers working on Teleport and throughout the organization.

• This team serves as the foundation for ensuring that the development team remains highly efficient, operating transparently with an open-source codebase.

• It is responsible for the tools required to create and distribute Teleport artifacts, which include container images, AMIs, Helm Charts, and their integration into package managers.

• The majority of the code you will produce will be in Go.

• A willingness to work collaboratively with Teleport's engineers on a coding challenge in Go as part of the interview process.

• Expert-level knowledge of Go.

• Significant experience with Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in AWS and other cloud services.

• Extensive experience in developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.

• Strong background in software-related security and a keen interest in the security domain.

• Experience in Linux systems engineering.
