Senior Backend Engineer, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance the client's engineering team by developing an agentic workflow-orchestration platform.

• Follow client guidance and prioritize tasks accordingly.

• Assess and suggest appropriate workflow/orchestration engines and infrastructure options.

• Design and execute composable, polyglot workflow steps within the orchestration framework.

• Create vulnerability-discovery workflow functionalities as the platform's inaugural workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior or tech lead-level proficiency in TypeScript development with practical production coding experience.

• Hands-on experience with workflow/orchestration engines such as Temporal, Dapr, or AWS Step Functions.

• Strong foundation in distributed systems, including message queues/pub-sub, event-driven architecture, and retry/idempotency patterns.

• Experience with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift, covering deployment, scaling, and basic networking.

• Background in enterprise architecture capable of interpreting design documents and exercising independent judgment.

• Ability to evaluate infrastructure platforms and provide build-vs-buy recommendations.

• Experience in regulated or financial services environments is preferred.

• Ideally, familiarity with integrating LLM/AI agent tool usage into platform workflows as guided by the client.
