Senior Backend Engineer – Python, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Create and develop backend services utilizing Python with FastAPI.

• Execute asynchronous job processing and monitor status using Redis, Celery, and Kafka.

• Collaborate with both internal and external LLM services for integration.

• Manage, version, and effectively deliver creative assets.

• Construct APIs for the Creative Dashboard and internal AI agents.

• Design and sustain external MCP servers to connect the platform with third-party AI agents and clients.

• Build ETL pipelines and guarantee data integrity throughout ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.

• Ensure system stability, observability, and cost-effective inference.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Python backend development.

• Proficient experience with FastAPI.

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and S3 (or similar technologies).

• Familiarity with asynchronous task queues such as Celery, Redis, and Kafka.

• Proven experience in integrating microservices in a production environment, including managing long-running tasks, retries, and error handling.

• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, including the development of MCP servers, implementing agents, and working with various LLMs and generative models.

• A genuine passion for agentic AI and staying updated on industry advancements.

• Basic skills in observability, encompassing logging, monitoring, and alerting.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams, including frontend and machine learning.

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of LangChain or agentic workflows is an advantage.

• Background in marketing technology is a plus.

• Experience with StarRocks or other OLAP databases, such as ClickHouse, is beneficial.
