Senior Backend Engineer – .Net, Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop backend services within our microservices architecture.

• Create new services for subscriptions and loyalty programs.

• Refactor and systematically extract business logic from the monolithic structure into dedicated services.

• Design interfaces for the exchange of financial data among engineering teams.

• Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

• Enhance system performance, maintainability, and transparency.

• Review code and advocate for engineering best practices.

• Collaborate closely with engineers from various product teams.

• Gradually assume leadership responsibilities within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in backend development.

• Extensive commercial experience with C# and .NET technologies.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining production systems.

• Familiarity with large codebases.

• Experience working with microservices and/or modular monolith architectures.

• Strong grasp of software architecture and backend design principles.

• Excellent algorithmic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in refactoring and evolving existing systems.

• Proven ability to make technical decisions and take responsibility for solutions.

• Quick learner with the capability to rapidly understand complex business domains.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Proficient in English for written communication and occasional calls with international colleagues.

• Experience utilizing AI tools in software development workflows.
