Senior Backend Engineer – Contract to Hire

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and queries optimized for high-write workloads

• Create, manage, and enhance AWS infrastructure utilizing Terraform

• Design, construct, and scale backend services using Python/FastAPI

• Take ownership of REST/OpenAPI contracts

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in backend engineering

• Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Strong experience with AWS

• Proficient in designing, versioning, and documenting REST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger)

• Familiarity with containerized local development (Docker / Docker Compose)

• Possess a startup mindset
