This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate Aescape’s service and infrastructure templates.

• Establish a foundational service based on the template Go service and industry best practices.

• Configure infrastructure for third-party integration services, ensuring minimal ongoing maintenance.

• Execute three integrations with third-party booking platforms.

• Liaise with Aescape’s general third-party booking integration service.

• Work in collaboration with Aescape's backend and infrastructure teams.

• Offer insights to enhance Aescape's API and infrastructure template.

• Develop a maintenance strategy for the infrastructure.

• Transfer completed work with comprehensive documentation at the conclusion of the engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Recent experience in production with Golang.

• Proven track record in building and deploying third-party API integrations in a production environment, preferably in booking, scheduling, payments, or CRM systems.

• Experience in taking a service from initial concept to production and providing thorough documentation upon handoff.

• Comfort with working with vendor APIs that may have inconsistent or limited documentation.

• Proficiency in AWS and the setup of infrastructure for backend services.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, either as a contractor or in a role requiring high ownership.

• Must be located in the United States.

• Must be eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor.

• Available during core Eastern Time business hours, from 11 am to 5 pm ET.
