Senior Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and develop backend services that drive Archive’s platform, which includes APIs, data pipelines, and integration systems.

• Create and manage scalable data models that facilitate both operational functionalities and analytical reporting.

• Execute integrations with ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, inventory management solutions, and financial systems.

• Collaborate closely with implementation teams and external partners to gather system requirements and translate them into robust, maintainable solutions.

• Establish monitoring, observability, and data validation processes to guarantee consistent data quality within a multi-tenant environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a backend or platform engineer.

• Strong expertise in Python and/or TypeScript.

• Comprehensive understanding of relational databases with proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).

• Experience in building and deploying backend services at scale, particularly within distributed systems.

• Comfortable working with various data storage options (relational, NoSQL, warehouse environments).

• Familiarity with or interest in data orchestration tools.

• Proficient in decomposing ambiguous, complex, or unstructured data challenges into practical, reliable solutions.

• Capable of transforming high-level objectives into deployable code and iterating rapidly in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with a passion for collaborating with cross-functional teams and, occasionally, customers.
