Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into detailed technical specifications

• Create and develop applications utilizing PHP (8.3+) and Laravel

• Enhance API calls to achieve optimal performance and scalability

• Assess the technical feasibility of PRD documents

• Guide junior developers while fostering a collaborative culture

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability of 40 hours per week is required

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, which include designers and product managers

• Design and develop applications using PHP (8.3+) and Laravel

• Understand when and why to implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Optimize API calls for peak performance and scalability

• Comply with stringent security and data protection regulations

• Evaluate the technical feasibility of PRD documents

• Rapidly diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues

• Collaborate with the team to oversee deployments and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines

• Mentor junior developers
