Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, and various stakeholders to design and develop cutting-edge Chaos Engineering tools.

• Utilize exceptional collaboration and communication abilities to introduce new features within a remote work environment.

• Work alongside product and other business units to identify business challenges and present technical solutions along with their trade-offs.

• Take an active role in mentoring and developing your colleagues.

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing the customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Java software engineering.

• Proficiency in Go and systems-level programming.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Lambda, and Serverless; experience with other cloud platforms like Google and Oracle is also valued.

• Knowledge of DynamoDB and/or other NoSQL databases, or any major relational database experience.

• Experience with infrastructure and systems-level technologies, including Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

• Proven track record in architecting complex distributed systems and integrating with external systems.

• Strong proponent and practitioner of automated testing, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
