Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations regarding architectural solutions and identify optimal strategies for addressing specific challenges;

• Oversee system maintenance and create new features from the initial concept to final delivery;

• Participate in peer code reviews, enhancing the quality of the code we produce;

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development using Java;

• Familiarity with Apache Camel, Spring, or Quarkus;

• Experience in developing solutions utilizing Open Container (OCI), Kubernetes, and cloud computing technologies;

• Proficient in implementing observability tools (metrics, tracing, logging);

• Experience in constructing distributed solutions through microservices, messaging, and streaming;

• Knowledge of unit testing (Cucumber: BDD testing);

• Background in working within agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);

• Experience in development with NoSQL databases (MongoDB and Elasticsearch) as well as relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or Oracle);

• Proficient in using Git for version control;
