Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the design and execution of impactful internal systems and services.

• Developing the integration platform and interfaces that enable other teams to connect with the ClarOps backend.

• Collaborating throughout the entire product lifecycle, from conception to deployment.

• Enhancing team performance through code reviews, collaborative programming, and knowledge sharing with colleagues.

• Sustaining and advancing microservices within a contemporary architectural framework.

• Facilitating cross-team problem-solving and architectural discussions.

• Utilizing AI tools to accelerate delivery and enhance team workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of backend development experience, demonstrating successful performance in production settings.

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.

• Comprehensive understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems utilizing infrastructure components such as Kafka.

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, and modern development tools.

• Proficient in English and Spanish, with the capability to lead technical discussions across different regions.

• High level of autonomy, initiative, and a sense of ownership.

• A genuine interest in AI.

• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing and high-growth environments.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
