Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain high-quality Python applications and services.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.

• Guarantee the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Detect and resolve bottlenecks and troubleshoot bugs.

• Assist in maintaining code quality, structure, and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Python.

• Expertise in FastAPI or comparable Python frameworks.

• Experience with cloud services and cloud architecture.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially MySQL.

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch for search and analytics solutions.

• Knowledge of AI technologies, such as OpenAI and Gemini.

• Experience with cloud services (AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, CloudFront).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
