Senior Backend Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Design and maintenance of robust, scalable, and resilient backend architectures using Java and Spring Boot.

• Development and implementation of RESTful APIs and web services with Spring Web.

• Design, modeling, and optimization of relational and non-relational databases (Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data MongoDB).

• Implementation of microservices with Spring Boot and the Spring Cloud ecosystem.

• Maintenance, refactoring, and evolution of legacy applications and systems in Java, ensuring stability, security, and proper integration with new solutions.

• Analysis and resolution of incidents in critical production environments.

• Security measures and data protection using Spring Security (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC), applying Secure Coding principles.

• Automated testing strategies with JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Boot Test.

• Ensuring code quality within the team through code reviews and adherence to Clean Code and SOLID principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with **Java**.

• Proven projects involving **microservices** architectures.

• Previous experience in the financial or banking sector.
