Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and highly available backend services using .NET and distributed architectures.

• Propose and implement strategic technological improvements to modernize existing applications and processes.

• Actively participate in architectural decisions and the technological evolution of the platforms.

• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and Data teams to analyze requirements, anticipate technical impacts, and define efficient solutions.

• Ensure technical quality through best development practices, testing, and code reviews, while supporting the technical growth of the team.

• Create reusable code and libraries, maintaining clear technical documentation to facilitate support and knowledge transfer.

• Estimate tasks realistically within agile methodologies, anticipating risks and communicating blockers in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET or similar technologies, participating in the design of architectures, distributed systems, scalable APIs, and cloud environments.

• Experience in technically leading initiatives and making architectural decisions.

• Proficiency in SQL Server; experience with NoSQL (CosmosDB or similar) is desirable.

• Strong knowledge of Azure (Functions, App Services, Service Bus).

• Experience writing unit and integration tests as part of daily workflows.

• Familiarity with observability, performance, and CI/CD practices.

• Degree in Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Intermediate technical English (reading documentation and technical communication).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and version control with Git/GitHub.
