Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and construct high-performance backend APIs and services focusing on architecture and infrastructure.

• Design data models in PostgreSQL/Azure SQL with scalability as a primary consideration from the outset.

• Implement automated testing as part of the delivery process.

• Take into account testability, observability, and security during the design phase.

• Integrate with existing enterprise legacy systems while ensuring seamless operations.

• Collaborate with AI throughout the processes of planning, coding, testing, and debugging.

• Communicate effectively in asynchronous environments.

• Take ownership of commitments and proactively address issues when obstacles arise.

• Set up CI/CD workflows.

• Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience as a backend developer.

• Advanced skills in Python OR C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core).

• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL or Azure SQL.

• Familiarity with:

• React / React Native

• Next.js

• PostgreSQL or Azure SQL

• Docker / docker-compose

• GitHub or GitLab

• Automated testing

• Claude Code

• While mastery of all these tools is not expected, a strong eagerness to quickly learn what you may not know is essential. You will be distinguished if you possess knowledge of:

• Azure (Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Application Insights)

• GCP (Cloud Run, Compute Engine)

• AWS (ECS, Developer Tools, EC2, S3)

• Kubernetes (AKS)

• Redis

• Keycloak

• SonarQube
